What you'll learn
This course starts with data analytics fundamentals, where students learn to perform basic calculations and analysis using spreadsheets. They understand spreadsheet features, formulas, sorting, charts, and gradually move into managing structured data, including database concepts and SQL. Students also learn to analyze data using spreadsheet tools by applying statistics, Pivot Tables, filtering, What-If Analysis, and regression techniques.
Next, students learn to manage data using open-source tools, including basic Linux concepts and file handling. They are introduced to data visualization using Tableau for presenting data effectively. The course also covers the installation of Hadoop and Java fundamentals, followed by managing Big Data using Hadoop tools. Finally, students implement data analytics use cases and gain practical experience through projects and On-the-Job Training (OJT).
